Teaching at UCSC: What You Need to Know
This TLC guide is for anyone who teaches at UC Santa Cruz. It will help you find what you need to do the important work of teaching. It includes general information about the following and links to campus resources, offices, policies and systems, and to more detailed and specific TLC guides:
- The many kinds of support available from the TLC and Information Technology Services (ITS)
- What to expect from your department or college, including your teaching review
- Everything you need to know about campus technology (including your UCSC account)
- Teaching logistics (e.g., the academic calendar, your syllabus, submitting grades, and feedback from your students)
- How to work with your extended teaching team
- How to refer your students to various support offices
