In August 2023, UC Santa Cruz adopted new guidelines to assist faculty, departments, deans, CAP, campus leadership, and external reviewers in compiling and assessing files that include community engagement in tenure, merit, and promotion cases. This resource supports educators in documenting their commitment to community-engaged teaching within their teaching files.
