Teaching Week
Teaching Week will be held February 24–28, 2025. Teaching Week is an opportunity to celebrate and elevate the innovative teaching that is happening at UCSC in support of our shared goals of equity-minded and transformative learning for all of our students.
Convocation
Each year, the TLC hosts a convocation to bring together educators across the campus and from the local community to explore significant topics in teaching and learning in higher education. Each year’s keynote address is free and open to the public.
TLC Programs
TLC offers a range of programs that support educators in all academic disciplines through cohort-based experiences, organized as multi-day, quarter-long, and year-long learning communities.
TLC Workshops
The TLC offers 90-minute to two-hour workshops for any instructional group on campus, such as faculty members at department meetings and graduate student instructor and teaching assistant groups. All TLC workshops are interactive and applicable to any discipline and draw from the teaching experience and expertise of the participants.
