Abdelrahman EL Fikky earned his Master of Science (MSc) degree in the Electronics and Communications department in 2020 with a GPA of 4.0. His focus was on radio and transmission networks for wireless communications. Beginning in January 2021, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz. His research has yielded multiple publications covering various areas. He received the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in the ECE Department at UCSC for the 2022–23 academic year. The prospect of being part of the GPF community and engaging with strategies and activities aligns perfectly with Abdelrahman’s learning goals. He is eager to immerse himself in the enriching experiences and collaborative environment that the fellowship promises.
