Alex is a third year student in the Education department at UCSC. Her research focuses on the experience of imported educational programming, education in conflict and crisis, and refugee education. Her primary mode of community-building in her teaching is asking her students questions about their favorite fictional and famous people and worlds. This is also how she gets the most up to date information about the Kardashians.
