Andrew Allio

Andrew is a 5th year doctoral candidate in the History department. Prior to graduate school, he taught math, social studies, and a service learning program at schools in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Through the Graduate Pedagogy Fellowship Program, he hopes to develop a vigorous and equitable classroom model that challenges students while giving them the tools necessary for both academic and personal success. When he’s not doing work as a graduate student, he is at home playing with his 8-month-old son, Dominic, and (hopefully) catching up on sleep.
