Graduate Pedagogy Fellow in History of Consciousness (2023)
Won Jeon is a PhD student in the History of Consciousness department, and studies the points of convergence between cybernetics and psychoanalysis as theories of knowledge, language, and learning. Prior to working as a TA and GSI at UCSC, Won was an academic mentor and freelance tutor for international high school students facing specific challenges as new English-language learners. As a Graduate Pedagogy Fellow, she hopes to apply and develop her research interests in reflexivity and ‘learning to learn’ as a concrete pedagogical practice.
