Brian is a PhD Student in Literature with Designated Emphases in Critical Race & Ethnic Studies as well as Latin American and Latino Studies. He has tutored at Los Angeles City College and Glendale Community College, has taught composition and ESL courses at Cal State Northridge, and more recently has taught Core 1 for the John R. Lewis College and Writing 2 for the Writing Program. As a Pedagogy Fellow, he is looking forward to being in community with other fellows and graduate students in his departments to share strategies and approaches that promote student success.
