Cid Pearlman

Assistant Director for Open Education and Digital Engagement Projects; Continuing Lecturer in Performance, Play & Design

Cid Pearlman is an educator, artist, curator, and culture worker. At the TLC Cid stewards UCSC’s open access courses and collaborates with UCSC faculty and staff to create videos that engage with topics important to the campus community. Cid is also a Dance Lecturer in the Department of Performance, Play & Design, teaching classes in movement practice and theory. Among other honors she is the recipient of the 2021 Rydell Visual Arts Fellowship, a Fulbright Award from the US Department of State, and has been twice awarded a Djerassi Resident Artist Fellowship. Cid received her M.F.A. in Dance from the Department of World Arts & Cultures at UCLA. www.cidpearlman.org
