Education Grants and Evaluation Specialist
Cindy Ziker received a Ph.D. in the Psychology of Education from Arizona State University and earned a graduate certificate in longitudinal assessment from the University of Maryland and the National Center for Educational Statistics. She also holds master’s degrees in elementary education and public health practice. Her work is focused on the evaluation and assessment of federally-funded initiatives. Dr. Ziker’s research interests are aimed at investigating inclusive mentoring practices that support the success of underrepresented students. She formerly served as the Director of the National Assessment of Educational Progress at the Arizona Department of Education and as a STEM Education Research Fellow at California State University Monterey Bay.
