Ian is a PhD student in the Computer Science and Engineering department here at UC Santa Cruz. Outside of the classroom, you can find him practicing pedagogy as a mechanic at the UCSC Bike Co-op. By participating in the GPF, he hopes to improve his teaching skills for the benefit of future students and mentees. He came to UCSC by way of Miami, FL, and enjoys bicycles, skateboarding, and music.
