J Fearon

J Fearon is a 4th year PhD student teaching and researching paleoecology and paleoclimate. In their research, they compare marine invertebrate communities from before, after and during mass extinctions to find out how ecosystems recover from major environmental change. Here in the present, they aim to empower historically-excluded people in STEM, especially in improving accessibility for disabled people in the geosciences. They received the Teaching for Equity certificate in 2022, and are excited to further their pedagogy skills and better serve their communities through the TLC Graduate Pedagogy Fellowship.
