Jessica is a 4th year PhD candidate in the Earth & Planetary Sciences department. Her research investigates the climate history of the Antarctic ice sheet using uranium-series geochronology of subglacial chemical precipitates. She has been a TA for her department’s earth history, mineralogy, and glaciology classes, has mentored four undergraduate researchers in her lab, and participated in TLC’s Equity-Minded Mentoring certification program last year. She is particularly interested in equitable pedagogy and disability access in higher education.
