Kasia Jankiewicz’s research is in geometric group theory, which studies the interplay between abstract shapes with their geometry and topology on one side, and the algebra of their symmetries on the other side. In her teaching, she is interested in exploring and developing strategies ensuring equitable learning opportunities.
