
Kimia Gholami is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, focusing on data processing, medical imaging, and artificial intelligence. Her research involves supervising data processing and co-supervising image reconstruction for collaborative and independent projects. Driven by a commitment to diversity and equity, she started voluntarily teaching piano at a young age. She has also served as a TA in Artificial Intelligence classes, where she fostered an inclusive and supportive environment. As a Graduate Pedagogical Fellow, Kimia is dedicated to promoting diversity and advancing justice-oriented, equitable pedagogical practices within her department.
