Kirill Zhazhin

Kirill Zhazhin is a third-year PhD student in Economics at UC Santa Cruz with a teaching philosophy centered on making problem-solving accessible through transparency, tailored content, and research-based practices. He has worked on an online learning platform designed to address disparities in student outcomes and is committed to fostering inclusive and supportive classroom environments. As a mentor in the Gradpath program, Kirill guides students with graduate school aspirations, emphasizing long-term academic growth. As a Graduate Pedagogy Fellow, he aims to refine his teaching skills and contribute to his community by developing interactive, discipline-specific materials for graduate educators in his department.
