Margaret Zimmer is an Assistant Professor of Fresh Water in the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department. She has obtained a Certificate in College Teaching from Duke University. As a Faculty Fellow, she seeks to design, develop, and implement a research and teaching “living laboratory” on the campus natural reserve to increase hands-on learning in environmental science classes at UC Santa Cruz and beyond.
