Miguel is a Masters student in the Mathematics department; with interest in an education career. He was previously working with the Academic Excellence Program (ACE) program on campus as a Learning Skills Advisor, where Miguel lead active learning problem sessions and supported TA’s in developing collaborative facilitation skills for lower division math courses. Miguel hopes to take what he learned at ACE to foster an inclusive teaching community for TA’s in the mathematics department with the support of TLC.
