Graduate Pedagogy Fellow in Education (2023)
Mila Re is a second-year PhD student in the Education Department, where she studies critical media literacy education and youth civic engagement in digital spaces. Before pursuing a PhD, she worked in various educational contexts, including five years as a public school teacher, where she led professional development initiatives and served as a mentor for pre-service educators. As a Graduate Pedagogy Fellow, Mila hopes to strengthen her pedagogical practice in higher education settings and support grad student educators in her department in enacting justice-oriented, transformative pedagogical approaches in their teaching.
