Narges Norouzi joined UC Santa Cruz in July 2017 as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Computer Science department. She received her M.A. (2014) and Ph.D. (2017) in Computer Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada. Prior to joining UCSC, she was teaching in the Computer Science and Engineering Science departments of University of Toronto as a sessional lecturer while she was a graduate student. She taught a variety of courses in Computer Science, ranging from introductory courses to CS to upper division courses in Mobile Programming, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. She also collaborated with her Ph.D. advisor in designing MOOC courses for University of Toronto, which also resulted in a publication in the Frontiers in Education conference in 2016.
