Graduate Pedagogy Fellow in Physics (2023)
Pierce Giffin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and is currently a Ph.D. student in theoretical physics researching dark matter models in colliders and astrophysical plasmas. He has been very involved with making physics more accessible to a wide variety of communities. From organizing a series of jargon-free talks to hosting community “Dumb Questions Night,” Pierce strives to help others understand physics from within and beyond the classroom.
