Graduate Pedagogy Fellow in Biomolecular Engineering (2022)
Roman Reggiardo has been teaching at UCSC for nearly 10 years: first as an undergraduate peer tutor and now as a graduate teaching assistant. Working with the students here has galvanized his commitment to develop inclusive and equitable teaching practices both personally and as pillars of his community. In particular, Roman is interested in learning approaches to facilitate community building between graduate and undergraduate students. He is honored to have the opportunity to learn how best to serve the graduate teaching assistants of his department and cultivate a robust, supportive environment for the next generation of biomolecular engineers.
