TLC Faculty Fellow (2023-24); Continuing Lecturer, Writing Program
Sarah Michals is a Continuing Lecturer in the Writing Program and the Coordinator of Directed Self-Placement. She teaches courses in rhetoric and genre, information literacy, and pedagogical grammar with focuses on shared authority and language justice. As a TLC faculty fellow, she hopes to deepen her work on equity assessments of UCSC’s Directed Self-Placement system.
