Shiva Abbaszadeh is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Her research focuses on detectors, data acquisition, and computational processing to improve image quality and noise reduction funded by NIH, DOD, and DOE. She was named Fellow of the National Initiative by the Research Corporation for Science Advancement to advance bioimaging. She loves teaching and believes in growth mindset.
