Stephanie E Hertel

Stephanie E. Hertel, a Eugene Cota-Robles Fellow in the Education Department, is dedicated to applying critical quantitative methods to question the use of statistical data in educational research/policy. Previously, she directed an educational initiative where she collaborated with public school teachers and mentored undergraduate students in teaching contemporary social science and international relations curricula at the secondary level. As a Graduate Pedagogical Fellow, she aspires to gain insights from an interdisciplinary cohort and contribute to the advancement of equitable and justice-oriented pedagogical practices within her department.
