CITL Faculty Fellow
Stephanie Lain is a Lecturer in Spanish in the Department of Languages and Applied Linguistics. She is a proponent of Content-Based Instruction, a foreign-language pedagogy that integrates language instruction with real-world tasks through the use of authentic materials and active learning techniques. As a CITL Faculty Fellow, she will work with students in her 2018–19 Medical Spanish courses to develop original course content, a series of short videos that can be accessed by the public and used to train future healthcare professionals in the use of Medical Spanish.
