CITL/Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) Initiatives Faculty Fellow
Susan Strome is a Distinguished Professor of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. She has received teaching awards and honors from Indiana University (Department of Biology Teaching Award, Senior Class Award for Teaching Excellence in Biology, and Trustees Award for Teaching Excellence) and from UC Santa Cruz (Excellence in Teaching Award, Outstanding Faculty Award from the Division of Physical and Biological Sciences, and Presidential Chair Award). Her primary project as a CITL/HSI Initiatives Faculty Fellow is to develop and incorporate science practices into her Genetics class and its discussion sections.
