Timothy Johnstone

Tim Johnstone is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. While an NSERC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Toronto, he was awarded a Chemistry Teaching Fellowship and, as a Presidential Fellow at MIT, he received the Department of Chemistry Award for Outstanding Teaching. As a CITL/DSS Faculty Fellow, he intends to explore the importance of the paradigm in pedagogy, with an initial emphasis on the role that the Frustrated Lewis Pair concept can play in the undergraduate chemistry curriculum.
