Graduate Pedagogy Fellow in Linguistics (2023)
Vishal Arvindam is a Ph.D. student in Linguistics whose research focuses on language processing, especially as it relates to the incremental building of sentence structure and composition of sentence meaning. He is interested in evidence-based teaching methods to better serve underrepresented students in the classroom, as well as fostering equitable, interdisciplinary, and inclusive teaching practices in his department. He is currently a member of EquiL, an equity-based, student-led working group in the Linguistics department dedicated to increasing equity within the department and in the field of linguistics.
