Arts Pedagogies — Teaching and Learning Community

About the Arts Pedagogies — Teaching and Learning Community

The Teaching and Learning Center is excited to announce a new learning community for all faculty in the Arts Division. With leadership from TLC Faculty Associate L.S. Kim and TLC Faculty Director, Robin Dunkin, the Arts Pedagogies — Teaching and Learning Community will be a place to talk about teaching in the arts including successes and challenges that faculty are having in their teaching. Arts Pedagogies — TLC meetings will be driven by the interests of the participants, require no prior preparation, and include ample space to talk with colleagues from across the division. The first meeting on January 24 will be held at the Teaching and Learning Lab (room 2359) in McHenry Library.

Winter 2024 meetings will be held from 12 to 1 PM (lunch included for in-person participants) on the following Wednesdays:

  • January 24;
  • February 14; and
  • March 6

The first meeting on January 24 will be held at the Teaching and Learning Lab (McHenry Library 2359).

How to Participate in the Learning Community

The dates, time, and locations will be added to faculty Google calendars. RSVPing to the calendar invitation will help us plan for the event.

Questions about this new learning community can be directed to TLC@ucsc.edu.
