Disruptions to teaching and learning from things like power outages, wildfires, evacuations, public health emergencies, labor actions, and so on, have become more common. Moreover, on occasion, incidents may occur within our campus community that quickly circulate to a wider audience through social media or other channels. These resources can help faculty members, GSIs, and Teaching Assistants with concerns and questions about how to respond to these sorts of incidents and events.
Critical Incidents in the Classroom
These resources support instructors with responding to student concerns about incidents that may occur within our campus community or classroom, such as allegations of racism, sexual violence, unauthorized use of force by law enforcement, or harassment based on immigration status.
